PUTNAM COUNTY, Fla. -- The Putnam County Sheriff's Office is still searching for Haleigh Cummings, a young girl missing since 2009.
The Putnam County Sheriff's Office has received numerous inquiries regarding the recovery of the skeletal remains of missing Haleigh Cummings, according to a media release from the Putnam County Sheriff's Office.
"A rumor has spread throughout our community that her body has been located. This rumor is false, and this information has been vastly misreported and sensationalized," the statement detailed.
