ORANGE PARK, Fla. -- A 43-year old motorcyclist was seriously injured in a one-vehicle accident late Saturday night on Blanding Boulevard.

The Florida Highway Patrol says Charles Dimech of Green Cove Springs was traveling southbound on Blanding in the inside lane on a Harley.  He struck the raised curb of the median and it caused the motorcycle to overturn onto its left side.

The driver was ejected, according to the report. Dimech was not wearing a helmet.

He was transported to Orange Park Medical Center with critical injuries.
