Hurricane Sandy isn't just messing with candidates like President Obama and Mitt Romney.

It's also changing pollsters' schedules.

Gallup announced Monday that it is suspending daily track polling.

A statement from Gallup editor in chief Frank Newport:

"Gallup has suspended polling for its daily tracking as of Monday night and will reassess on a day-to-day basis. The ultimate effect on the overall picture of polling between now and this weekend, including election polling, will depend on what happens as a result of the storm, about which we will have a better understanding of on Tuesday and Wednesday of this week."

The Gallup daily track released Monday had Romney ahead of Obama among likely voters, 51% to 46%.

The two candidates are tied among registered voters at 48%.
