JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office is asking for the public's help in identifying a man they say tried to rob an Exxon Gas Station.
Shortly before 4:45 a.m. the morning of October 24, a man armed with what
appeared to be a "machine gun" entered the Exxon Gas Station located at
12753 Atlantic Blvd., according to a news release from JSO Public Information Officer Shannon Hartley.
Hartley said the employee secured himself inside the cash register booth.
The armed man then fled from the store without taking any money.
Hartley
said the clerk described the attempted robber as being a black male
wearing a gray ski mask and a gray long sleeved shirt.
