ALBANY, Ga. -- A new Caribbean two-spotted octopus has arrived at the Flint RiverQuarium in Albany.

The RiverQuarium's husbandry expert, Daniel Churchman, told The Albany Herald that octopuses are infamous for finding ways to sneak out of tanks. Churchman said the new addition is in a special tank that has air conditioner foam and other measures to keep it from leaving.

Churchman said octopuses have beaks used to crush and pulverize their prey. They also eat other members of their species.
