ST. JOHNS COUNTY, Fla. -- The St. Johns County Sheriff's Office arrested a 48-year-old man on numerous felonies charges Friday.
The arrest comes after a week long investigation by the sheriff's office's Special Victim's Unit, according to a news release from St. Johns County Sheriff's Office Media Relations Officer Kevin Kelshaw.
Detectives charged John Allen Clark of 1990 Powell Road with sexual battery on a victim between the ages of 12-17, four counts of incest and one count of contributing to the delinquency of a minor.
Kelshaw said the investigation began when the female victim detailed the alleged acts. The victim said the incidents occurred between 2009 through this year.
The victim said Clark would allegedly give her drugs in exchange for sex.
Detectives arrested Clark Friday after bringing him in for questioning. Kelshaw said he was booked into the St. Johns County Jail where he is being held on $700,000 bond.
