JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- People looking to learn more about the architecture of Jacksonville will have the chance October 25 during the Museum of Science and History's "After Dark" program.
The event will take place at 6 p.m. in the Bryan-Gooding Planetarium.
According to a release from the museum, one of Jacksonville's leading historians, Dr. Wayne Wood, will present a tour of 38 architectural wonders found in Jacksonville.
Dr. Wood's lecture will feature a number of illustrations to reveal little known facts about some of the city's most recognizable landmarks, in addition to other lesser known buildings.
Reservations for the lecture are required and can be made by calling 396-6674 or online at www.themosh.org, and clicking on the MOSH After Dark image on the homepage.
The cost to attend is $5 per person for the general public or free for MOSH members and students and teachers with an I.D.
