Orlando police say the 17-year-old boy attacked his 17-year-old girlfriend with a pocket knife in a parking lot at Dr. Phillips High School Tuesday morning. Police say the couple was arguing when the boy stabbed his girlfriend and then stabbed himself.

The boy is facing charges of attempted murder and aggravated battery with a weapon under the dating violence statute.
