Vegan, convicted rapist, Broadway sensation, film actor in the hit movies The Hangover and The Hangover Part II. And
did we mention, former heavyweight boxing champion of the world? Mike
Tyson has led quite a life, and he's going to write about it in a
upcoming memoir. ?
Titled Undisputed Truth, the book is
scheduled for release next summer by Blue Rider Press. His collaborator
will be Larry "Ratso" Sloman, who worked on Howard Stern's Private Parts.
Tyson
will write about how, by his mid-30s, he squandered the fortune of
$400 million he earned as a boxer. This summer, Tyson brought his
one-man show, Undisputed Truth, to Broadway with Spike Lee
directing. Once addicted "to everything" (in his own words), today, the
Las Vegas resident is a vegan.
Clearly, F. Scott Fitzgerald got it wrong when he said, "There are no second acts in American lives."
