CARMICHAEL, CA - A man suspected of driving under the influence
allegedly drove his car into a Carmichael liquor store Friday night.
The crash happened at the liquor store on the 7300 block of Fair Oaks
Boulevard around 9:48 p.m. Witnesses said the truck crashed into the
store and then the driver fled the scene.
"It happened so fast, I've got one snapshot of an image of two guys in front of pick-up with eyes this big," customer Curt said.

The cashier at the time of the crash was transported to a nearby
hospital for treatment for minor injuries. His coworker say the man
injured in leg.
The driver, Robert Wayne Ring, 34, was later arrested by California
Highway Patrol at his Carmicheal home not too far away. He was booked
into Sacramento County Jail early Saturday morning.
Ring was booked for felony driving under influence of alcohol or
drugs with injury and hit and run with death or injury. His bail was set
at $50,000.
