JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office is investigating after an 11-month-old boy was found to have a swollen brain after being taken to the hospital Wednesday.
A male babysitter was watching four kids in the 1000 block of Bunker Hill Court when the boy was found to have stopped breathing at around 11:30 a.m., according to Sgt. Jay Farhat with JSO.
He was taken to Shands where he was found to have a swollen brain. It was initially thought that the boy would die, but a doctor working with the boy is now saying he doesn't think the baby is going to die.
