FERNANDINA BEACH, Fla. -- Fort Clinch State Park will host a Union Garrison event Saturday, October 6 and Sunday, October 7.

The program allows visitors to interact with living historians. The living historians are on hand to allow visitors the experience of living in the fort as it was in 1864.

During the event, soldiers in period costumes will be involved in marching drills, cooking and other daily activities.

The event is scheduled to take place from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, October 6 and from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. Sunday, October 7.
