JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- The city of Jacksonville unveiled its updated 630-CITY website today.
The site, 630city.coj.net, was down for maintenance and updates over the weekend. Regular service resumes today.
The city's customer service center, reached
by dialing 630-CITY, also changed its hours to 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through
Friday in July.
The change will eliminate the 7:30 - 8 a.m. and 5 - 5:30 p.m. time periods, which had low call volumes.
With the change, the full staff will be on-duty while the call center is open.
The city said customers should not see a disruption in service as a result of the schedule change.
