Doctors offer free eye surgery for NFL ref

GREEN BAY -- Even doctors in Green Bay are weighing in on the controversial call in Monday's Packers-Seahawks game, and they're offering a little help to the referee.

The Optivision Eye Care and Lasik Center in the Green Bay area offered the ref free laser eye surgery.

Dr. Gerald Clarke says it will correct his near-sightedness.

"He could finally see beyond his arm, which is what he needs to see, something beyond his own three feet in front of him, because he's pretty much nearsighted from that standpoint," says Dr. Clarke.

The Eye Care Center says it hasn't yet contacted the NFL with its offer.

Another optical center is putting billboards in Green Bay and Milwaukee that offer free eye exams for the other refs who worked Monday night's game.
