FORT MYERS, Fla. -- One man was killed and two others suffered minor injuries during what police described as a drive-by shooting in Fort Myers.
Fort Myers police say the men were walking down a sidewalk about 10 p.m. Sunday when someone in a passing pickup truck opened fire.
Police spokesman Brian O'Reilly told the Fort Myers News-Press the truck believed to have been used in the shooting was found late Sunday. It had been reported stolen by the Lee County Sheriff's Department.
O'Reilly says one man was grazed by a bullet and the other suffered minor injuries injuries.
The names of the victims have not been released.
No further details were immediately available.
