Jacksonville police seeking suspects in two business burglaries

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office is seeking suspects behind the recent burglaries of two businesses.

The first burglary took place at the Safari Food Store, 8940 Lem Turner Road on Sept. 5 at 3:30 a.m. and the second one took place at Quick Way Food Store, 770 N. McDuff Avenue on Sept. 10 at 4:15 a.m.

In both burglaries, the unknown suspects took cigarettes from the businesses after cutting the roll up door and smashing the glass, according to a release from JSO Public Information Officer Melissa Bujeda.

Anyone with any information about these unknown suspect(s) is asked to contact JSO at 904-630-0500 or First Coast Crime Stoppers at 1-866-845-TIPS to remain anonymous and be eligible for a possible reward.
