SAVANNAH, Ga. -- Savannah police are investigating a drive-by shooting reported on the city's west side.
    
WTOC-TV reports a man was wounded late Sunday when someone in a passing car opened fire as the victim was standing outside on 39th Street.
    
Police say the shooting victim, believed to be in his mid-30s, was taken to Memorial Health University Medical Center and his injuries did not appear to be life-threatening.
    
Violent crimes detective for Savannah-Chatham County police are investigating. No arrests had been made Monday morning.
