GAINESVILLE, Fla. -- People are already in line outside the O'Connell Center at the University of Florida ahead of First Lady Michelle Obama's campaign stop later today.
Mrs. Obama will be speaking at what organizers are calling a "grassroots" event on campus around 3:30 this afternoon.
The event is free and open to the public, but has limited seating which will be first come, first served. The doors are scheduled to open around noon, but two female UF alumni have been waiting outside since midnight.
The First Lady will be speaking to the crowd about the importance of organizing supporters in Florida ahead of the November election.
Michelle Obama will also make a similar stop today in Tallahassee.
