CUMMING, Ga. -- Authorities say a small plane has crashed near Lake Lanier.
Forsyth County Sheriff's Capt. Tim House tells the Atlanta Journal-Constitution that a plane crashed Thursday off Shady Grove Road near the intersection with Lanier Drive.
WSB-TV reports that the crash occurred around 8 p.m.
Chief Jason Shivers of the Forsyth County Fire Department says the extent of injuries to those aboard the plane was not immediately known.
