ORANGE PARK, Fla. -- Fleming Island High School senior running back Terrence Nelson is our athlete of the week.

A little less than two years ago, Nelson had open heart surgery because of a defective artery.  Two months after that surgery, he was back in the weight room preparing for the next football season.

Despite the surgery, Terrence hasn't missed a beat as he has become a very productive player for the Golden Eagles.
