Bride-to-be Angelina Jolie is on a special mission this week.
Special envoy Jolie is visiting Syrian refugees in Jordan, the U.N. refugee agency tells the Associated Press.
UNHCR
spokesman Ali Bebe tells the wire service that the actress and director
arrived today. She is expected visit Jordan's tent city for Syrian
refugees Tuesday morning.
Jolie, who is engaged to Brad Pitt, will
be accompanied by U.N. refugee chief Antonio Guterres and Jordanian
Foreign Minister Nasser Judeh on the visit to the Zatari camp, which
hosts about 27,000 Syrians displaced by the 18-month conflict, according
to AP.
