PALM COAST, Fla. -- A Flagler County convenience store found on Thursday it was in the possession of two counterfeit $20 bills.
Deputies from the Flagler County Sheriff's Office said the two bills, which were at the Kangaroo on State Road 100, had the same serial number.
They were further shown to be counterfeit when tested with a counterfeit detector pen, according to a release from FCSO.
An employee at the Wendy's on Palm Coast Parkway also thought the restaurant had $100 worth of fake bills, but these were found to be legitimate bills.
Merchants who have believe they may have received counterfeit bills should contact FCSO at (386) 313-4911.
