Hollywood continued to limp at the box office this weekend as week-old films ruled theaters and not one movie made more than $10 million.
The Possession took the No. 1 spot for the second consecutive week with $9.5 million, according to studio estimates from Hollywood.com. The film has done $33.3 million in 10 days.
Lawless took the second spot, also for the second-straight weekend, with $6 million. That film has earned $23.5 million in two weeks.
The Bradley Cooper drama The Words scored the biggest opening of newcomers but could muster just $5 million.
