AUSTELL, Ga. -- Authorities say an Atlanta man has been killed in a forklift accident.
Police in Austell, just west of Atlanta, say the employee of Caraustar died after being pinned underneath the forklift while he was working on it Thursday.
The Marietta Daily Journal reports that the forklift was on jacks when at some point it slipped off the jacks and pinned him.
Police identified the worker as 40-year-old Calvin Carter.
