FT. WHITE, Fla. -- Three juveniles were arrested for burglarizing a concession stand and causing hundreds of dollars in damage.
The concession stand at the South Columbia Sports Park in Ft. White was broken into on February 15th and February 16th. Both times, soft drinks were stolen.
Because of the recent burglaries, the Columbia County Sheriff's Office was conducting enhanced patrols in the area. A little after midnight on Feb. 18th, a deputy noticed a broken window at the concession stand.
Three juveniles were caught inside with large amounts of candy and snacks. They were arrested without incident and booked into the Columbia County Detention Facility.
All three are charged with burglary and criminal mischief but more charges are possible. They were released to their parents after they were booked.
It's estimated that over $1,000 in damage was done to the concession stand building as a result of the burglary.
