CHICAGO -- A Chicago man whose family had long feared he was a victim of serial killer John Wayne Gacy has been found living in Florida.

Harold Wayne Lovell was 19 when he vanished from his home to look for construction work in May 1977.

Lovell's age and the fact that he worked in construction bear chilling similarities to Gacy's 33 victims, and his brother and sister always feared the worst.

They planned to submit DNA to be compared to eight never-identified Gacy victims whose bodies have been exhumed by the Cook County Sheriff's office.

Instead they found out Lovell, who's now 53, was living in Florida and had occasional brushes with police.

The family had an emotional reunion Tuesday that Lovell said was "awesome."

Gacy was executed in 1994.
