Jacksonville, FL -- Edward Waters College introduced their two new head basketball coaches on Thursday.
The new men's head basketball coach is Jacksonville native Frank Burnell.
Burnell, formally the head coach at Daytona Beach Community College, now Daytona State College, and the assistant coach at the University of South Florida, has been coaching men's collegiate basketball for 25 years.
While at DBCC he led his team to four Mid-Florida conference championships, two tournament titles, and a Florida Community College Acitivities Association state championship.
He played his high school ball at Ribault High School under Hall of Fame coach Bernard Wilkes.
The women's basketball coach is Charmaine Wilson.
Wilson is a graduate of South Carolina State University, played with the Lady Bulldogs from 1996-1998.
Wilson has coached at Allen University and Bethune-Cookman University.
