JACKSONVILLE, Fla - Police arrested 31-year old Keisha Cabell after she stabbed two people at a group home.
Police were called to Volunteers of America Group Home on Church Street Thursday afternoon. According to the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office, Cabell had been in an argument with William Benner, who said she had punched him twice with her fists.
A JSO police report said Cabell asked Yulanda Lester to get her a knife. When she refused, a witness tried to hold Cabell back and get her to calm down.
But Cabell got away, walked into the kitchen and armed herself with a kitchen knife, the report said. She came back into the hallway and began stabbing at Benner, who she cut on the right leg, according to the report. Lester accused her of stabbing her in the left arm also before Benner was able to take the knife away.
Lester walked to a fire station nearby for treatment, while Benner refused treatment. Police arrested Cabell on aggravated battery charges.
