JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - A tropical storm is forming 350 miles to our east-northeast and is headed our way. Winds strong enough to down some trees and power lines will hit Sunday and Monday. Then flooding rains will be the main concern.

Since this  is still a developing system ,we will continue to watch it very closely. Right now it looks like primarily a heavy rain maker for our area. Indications are the system may not move back out to sea until the middle of next week, and so needed rain may become too much of a good thing.
