The Ways 2 Work program via the Family Foundations program has an option you might qualify for. Below are the requirements you must meet to qualify for a loan of up to $6,000.
Requirements:
-The person does have to be working full time for at least 6 momths
-They must have a valid FL driver's license.
-Must reside in Duval County.
-Must have a dependent under 18 years old, basically a child under 18 living with them.
-They have to have money in their budget available to sustain a car note.
-At least $300 of surplus in the bank after all monthly expenses are paid.
-Income restrictions. For example a family of 3 must make less than $48,000 a year.
-A single parent with a child would have to make under $38,000/year.
