ST. AUGUSTINE, Fla. -- Jennifer of St. Augustine asked us how to make scam phone calls stop.

She said she and her husband got calls from someone claiming to be from Microsoft, and again from another company.

The caller said she had a virus-infected Windows computer and also tried to access personal information then cursed at her husband and hung up.

Microsoft's website says you will never receive a legitimate call from Microsoft or their partners to charge you for computer fixes.

Microsoft's website goes into specific detail about how you can protect yourself along with that to do if you believe you are the victim of a cyber scam.
