Teen killed in St. Augustine hit-and-run; Search on for the alleged truck involved

ST. AUGUSTINE, Fla.—A teen boy was killed in a hit and run St. Augustine Tuesday morning, police said.

Police say the call came in around 8:00 a.m that said they saw a body along SR 312 between bridge and Plantation Island Drive in westbound lanes

According to police the young man was found dead. The age and identity of the male is unknown at this time. St. Augustine traffic homicide is investigating.

Here's a look at the same make and model of the truck authorities believe was involved in the hit and run - please note: this is not the exact truck police believe was involved. The actual truck with have a missing black passenger side mirror and might have damage to its right side. 

It is either a Chevy or GMC truck years 2003-2007.
