'Breaking Bad' clutch bag is a star

Has a clutch bag ever gotten so much attention at a Hollywood awards show? Only if it's got the logo for Breaking Bad on it.

Anna Gunn, who starred as Skyler White on the just-ended AMC drama, brought the custom-made bag by Edie Parker, but it was co-star Bryan Cranston who grabbed it on his way up to the podium to accept his best actor in a drama award.

Before launching into his speech, Cranston opened the bag and jokingly pretended to powder his nose, displaying the back lacquer box bag emblazoned with the show's periodic table logo in silver glitter.

"And the award for best accessory of the night goes to ... Anna Gunn!," declared People on Twitter and in its online style column.

Brett Heyman, who designed the clutch for the brand (named after her daughter), told The Hollywood Reporter she is a fan of the show and of Gunn, who wore it with a midnight blue Monique Lhuillier gown.

"Anna has been very supportive and we wanted to make her something as lasting and unforgettable as her performance to celebrate her SAG nomination," Heyman said.

Gunn was nominated for best actress in a drama. Both she and Cranston and the entire cast won the best drama ensemble award, so the bag got lots of attention tonight.
