Veterans to help assist with Hurricane Matthew relief efforts

BUNNELL, Fla. (October 19, 2016) – Team Rubicon, a veteran-led global disaster response
organization, is conducting Operation Loggerhead in Flagler County to assist in ongoing
hurricane response and recovery efforts by providing chain saw operations, debris removal,
and muck out operations.

Though Hurricane Matthew came and went, the impact from the storm continues to affect
several coastal states from Jacksonville, FL. all the way to Jacksonville, NC.

“The Florida community may experience hurricane destruction frequently and all of us at Team
Rubicon are here to lend a hand where we can.” said Christopher Scroggins, Operation
Loggerhead Incident commander.” Our volunteers are ready to mobilize at any moment to help
out our communities.”

Team Rubicon boasts a 40,000-strong, highly skilled veteran volunteer force that helps
communities stabilize and recover after devastating natural disasters.

By giving military veteran
volunteers the opportunity to continue their service through disaster response, Team Rubicon
helps give them a renewed sense of purpose, community, and identity
