DAYTON, OH -- A quick thinking elderly man fought back while staring down the barrel of an assault rifle on Saturday.
Dayton, Ohio police say 24-year-old Phillip Anderson was driving just after 6 Saturday evening when he cut off another driver, a 72-year-old man.
Anderson then went out to confront the older man.
"The 24-year-old stepped out of his vehicle with an AK 47 Assault rifle and said, 'Give me all you got'", Sergeant John Sullivan said.
Instead of money, Anderson got bullets.
Police say the 72-year-old man was a licensed concealed weapon carrier.
He pulled his own gun and shot Anderson twice, once in the abdomen and once in the left arm.
Anderson's injuries are not life threatening. He's now facing charges of aggravated robbery.
The shooter will not face any charges.
