Heavy storms, including a possible tornado, have caused signficant
damage in western parts of Mobile, Ala., early Thursday, The Weather
Channel reported.
The Weather Channel noted public reports of
people being rescued from debris in the Alabama city located on the Gulf
Coast. There were no immediate reports of injuries.
Teams are being requested by the fire department to clear streets of downed trees.

The worst damage is reported to be between I-65 and I-365.
