WHITE BEAR LAKE, Minn. (KARE) -- Traffic management cameras from the Minnesota Department of Transportation caught a dramatic police chase on video that involved a motorcycle traveling at high speeds through many metro highways Thursday afternoon.
The cameras show the motorcyclist clip a truck and crash but amazingly the cyclist was not injured according to Lt. Eric Roeske, spokesperson for the Minnesota State Patrol.
Officials say a state trooper began chasing the motorcyclist on northbound Interstate 35E in Little Canada for speeding. The chase continued northbound on 35-E and then through the 694 Commons.
The motorcyclist exited I-35E at Highway 96 in White Bear Lake. That's where the cyclist hit the truck and crashed. Roeske says an ambulance was called to scene, but Roeske believes the victim was not transported to the hospital.
