St. Louis (KSDK)--The music, the guests, the food. The stuff you see at just about every wedding.

But here's something novel about these nuptials.

The groom, Richard Stephens, is 85.

His bride, her name is Isabel Ganaway. She's 82.

The two met at The People United for Christ Church on Delmar a little over a year ago.

Richard says it was his ears that made her catch his eye. Isabel sings in the church choir.

A sweet story, but Minister Marie Parson, who performed the service, knows a spicier version.

"He said what attracted him to her was her panty hose. They were like chitterling legs, like elephant legs, so he went to straighten up her panty hose and he fell in love with her right away," Parson said.

However it happened, two older souls taking the plunge and proving that you're never get too old to love.
