CASTLE ROCK, Colo. -- Bears have been a common sight this spring in neighborhoods across the Front Range.

Monday morning, another one was sighted in Castle Rock.

This bear was seen near the Founder's Parkway exit on Interstate 25 on the eastside of the highway.

KUSA Anchor/Reporter Cheryl Preheim captured video of the bear.

"[The bear] was lumbering along the fence line ... It was just going kind of slowly. All of a sudden, there it was. We've seen a lot of animals out here before - beautiful - but never a bear," Preheim said.

Preheim says her kids saw the bear too, and she thinks they'll talk about it for the next 16 years of their lives.

"We hustled [the kids] inside and put them at a window so they could still watch, but at a safe distance," Preheim said.
