
JACKSONVILLE, FL -- A limousine chase on I-95 Friday night ended with police taking the driver into custody. The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office reports the vehicle was reported stolen from Georgia.
It happened just before 9:00 p.m. Friday on I-95 just north of the airport, around the Duval Road area.
Police were forced to use stop sticksto try and stop the limo driver. The car eventually came to a stop near Airport Road but not before catching fire and smoldering. Police have arrested Paul E. Cooper.
Police tell First Coast News there were five people inside the limo. They were the ones who called the police. They told the 9-1-1 Operator their driver was "acting crazy and wouldn't stop." Those passengers were not hurt in the incident.
