JACKSONVILLE, FL -- The big race is still six months away, but training started Saturday for the 26.2 With Donna, the national marathon to finish breast cancer. The kickoff happened at 7 a.m. at the Yates Family YMCA in Riverside. Around 300 runners laced up for a 3-mile run or walk on the Northbank Riverwalk. Chris Twiggs is the Co-Director of the Jeff Galloway training program. He says it's not too late to start training for the marathon, but don't wait too long. "A marathon is not something you can cram for, you have to train every week." The 3rd annual 26.2 With Donna is Sunday, February 21, 2010.
