JACKSONVILLE, FL -- The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office has identified the man shot by an officer following an attempted robbery as 22 year-old Artavious Debose. Debose was one of four suspects in an armed robbery that officers encountered in progress Monday night at the Game Stop. It's located on the 6700 block of 103rd Street.

Two of the suspects fled on foot and the others escaped in a car. Police say they chased the car. The chase ended when the driver hit a parked car and flipped on the 4600 block of Post Street.

Chief Rick Graham says Debose was fleeing an officer who was chasing him. The chase ended in a homeowner's backyard. Graham says Debose was not armed.

In describing the shooting, Graham declined to offer much detail but did say, "They (Debose and the officer) are less than 25 feet apart in this confrontation."

The State Attorney's Office, as is procedure, is reviewing the circumstances of this police-involved shooting.

Three other young men have been arrested in connection with the armed robbery.

They've been identified as Maurice Edward Pinckney, 18, Christopher Dwayne Hartley, 19, and Cristen D'Angelo Thomas, 19.

Monday night's officer-involved shooting was the second of the day.

James Martin Imbrani was being pusued by officers Monday morning following the robbery of the Fifth Third Bank in Lakewood.

Police say the 50 year-old man entered the bank wearing a mask and was armed with a gun.

The chase ended miles away after officers employed "stop sticks" to stop Imbrani's truck.

That's when police say Imbrani got of his vehicle and pointed a weapon at the officers.

Imbrani was shot several times and remains in critical condition.

Chief Rick Graham says the gun turned out to be fake, but was painted black making it look like a real gun.
