
ST. JOHNS COUNTY, FL -- The Florida Highway Patrol is investigating after several truck drivers say they were shot at on the interstate.
The incident happened on I-95 in St. Johns County near State Road 16. Three men say several shots were fired at their trucks. "I thought someone may have thrown a bottle. I pulled over and found a bullet and called Highway Patrol," said Gary Johnson.
One of the trucks hit was a fuel truck. Hazmat crews on the scene had to off load the fuel to another truck.
Right now there is no word as to why the truckers were targeted.
There are no suspects in custody.
