NIOTA, TN -- A horse from east Tennessee could soon gallop into the record books. "Jenson Diplomat Tina", or "Tina" to her owners, was measured at 20 hands tall on Saturday.

The current world record holder is a Belgian draft horse named Radar, who measures a little over 19 hands tall at 79 and a half inches. The document of Tina's height is on the way to London to the headquarters of Guinness, where it will be considered for the record book.

Horses are measured along the front leg to the top of the shoulder. A hand measures four inches. An average horse is about 15 to 16 hands tall.
