
DEERFIELD BEACH, FL (AP) -- A South Florida man who police say was naked and belligerent has died after officers Tased him.
Broward Sheriff's deputies say 41-year-old James Garland was spotted naked wandering through traffic. Authorities say they Tased him after he violently resisted arrest.
Garland was taken to a hospital where he was later pronounced dead.
Police say Garland had a record of 10 arrests in Broward County in the last six years, mostly on cocaine-related charges.
He was also a registered sex offender.
