ST. AUGUSTINE, Fla. -- The newest member of the Ripley's Believe It or Not! menagerie gives life to the saying "two heads are better than one."
The museum is holding a contest to name the red-bellied slider turtle with polycephaly (the condition of having two heads), according to a release from Ripley's. The odds of a two-headed turtle being born are one in every 10,000.
His two heads with functioning brains tends to make him indecisive, so his tank has less water and less obstacles. The young turtle will be kept in a tank in the lobby at Ripley's.
To submit your suggestion for what the turtle should be named, post it on Ripley's Facebook page.
