SEA ISLAND, Ga. -- A man has been charged with Reckless Conduct for accidentally shooting a woman while he was hunting squirrels on Sunday morning.
Edward George Johnson, 65, called 911 to report that he had accidentally shot Jane Prendergast, 70, with a .22 caliber rifle according to a report from GCPD Capt. Marissa Tindale.
The Glynn County Police Department responded to the 400 block of Forest Road and found that Prendergast had a gunshot wound to her stomach.
The investigation into the incident is ongoing.
