If you're dying for one more for double latte in Easley, S.C., we have just the thing: Starbucks is opening a "coffee corner" inside the Robinson Funeral home next month.
Starbucks confirmed to USA TODAY's Bruce Horovitz that the funeral home will be serving up its brew in a special wing of the funeral home.
The owner, Chris Robinson, tells WSPA-TV that it is just one more service for the grief-stricken.
"If this provides them a little escape, gives them a break from the stress they are going through, that's what its all about -- to make them feel a little better," he tells the TV station.
Robinson, who notes that the cafe will serve the public as well as mourners, says opening a Starbucks fits in with the history of the fourth-generation funeral home.
He says his great-grandfather started the funeral home inside a main street general store, where people would gather and drink coffee.
