Charlotte Canan, 11, excited to see Justin Bieber in concert.
ST. AUGUSTINE, Fla. -- It's a dream come true for a local 11-year-old girl fighting cancer. Charlotte Canan got to attend the Justin Bieber concert in Jacksonville.
Charlotte only has one album on repeat on her iPad.
She's been receiving chemotherapy every three weeks since March after she was diagnosed with Wilms tumor, a type of cancer that causes tumors in the kidneys or lungs.
"I had two tumors in my lungs that they had to remove in surgery," said Charlotte Canan.
But his is the second time she was diagnosed. Canan first had tumors in her kidneys when she was two-years-old.
"I try to not think that I have cancer or whatever and just live a normal life," said Charlotte.
And Bieber fever is part of that normal life.
Her best friend Raine surprised her with tickets to Bieber's concert, which she didn't think she was going to be able to attend because of her treatment.
But the surprises don't stop there. The Tom Coughlin Jay Fund has been working to get Charlotte into a private party to meet the Biebs face-to-face.
"I've always wanted to meet Justin Bieber," said Charlotte.
It would be a dream come true for this Belieber who already owns Justin Bieber's fragrance, movie, and all his albums, but her favorite thing about the singer is his hair.
"A lot of girls go crazy over his hair," said Charlotte.
