JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- Shelby Deanna Farah, 20, was found dead at the Metro PCS store after an apparent robbery on Saturday.
Around 4:33 p.m. the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office received a call about robbery in progress at the cell phone store located at 3100 North Main Street.
When JSO officers arrived they found Farah behind the counter with a gunshot wound. The location of the gunshot wound has not been released at this time.
According to JSO, the woman is believed to have been the clerk at the store.
Witnesses say a man entered the store with something over his face and demanded money.
Witnesses who fled the scene heard gunshots, according to JSO Sgt. Michael Paul.
The suspect left the scene on foot after the shooting and remains on the loose at this hour.
